Dr. Jamil Hirji

Dr. Jamil Hirji completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, medical school at the University of British Columbia, and family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. His family practice is based at a clinic where he also serves as medical director in the Olympic Village community of Vancouver; he also works as a hospitalist at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. Dr. Hirji holds clinical faculty appointments at UBC and the University of Alberta. From 2012 to 2019 he served in leadership positions with the Aga Khan Education Board for Canada. His areas of interest include hospital medicine, global health, and medical education.
