The Unforgotten: A film about Indigenous health. A screening event with the Indigenous Health Committee.

Family physicians and learners: Please join members of the CFPC Indigenous Health Committee to attend a screening and participate in a facilitated discussion for The Unforgotten, a short film about the health and well-being of Indigenous people in Canada. The film brings attention to the stark health inequities and the need to close the health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.

Facilitators from the Indigenous Health Committee will guide learners in reflective discussions about systemic anti-Indigenous racism in Canada’s health care system after the screening.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 14th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (ET), in part to acknowledge and commemorate the first annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, 2021.
